1. Pet & Child Safety Policy
- Pets: To maintain a sanitary environment, pets are not permitted on the salon floor.
- Exception: Small pets are welcome only if they remain in a secure carrier or cage for the duration of your visit.
- Disruptions: If a pet becomes disruptive (e.g., excessive barking or whining), we reserve the right to ask that the pet be removed from the salon to respect the relaxation of other clients. Service animals are always welcome in accordance with the law.
Children: For safety and insurance reasons, children may not be left unattended in the waiting area or salon floor. The salon contains sharp tools, chemicals, and hot equipment that are hazardous to unsupervised children. If you do not have childcare, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
2. Service Guarantee & Refund Policy
- Satisfaction Check: Please inspect your nails before leaving. If you are unhappy with the shape, color, or style, please let your technician know immediately so we can correct it before you pay.
- The 3-Day Rule: If your nails chip, lift, or break within 3 days of your service, please contact us for a complimentary repair.
No Refunds: We do not offer cash refunds on services. No refunds, repairs, or changes will be considered after the 3-day period has passed. Any damage reported after 3 days or caused by "wear and tear" (e.g., using nails as tools) will be subject to a repair fee.
3. Health & Safety Disclosures
- Medical Conditions: Please inform your technician of any health conditions (such as diabetes), allergies, or skin sensitivities before your service begins.
- Contagious Conditions: For the safety of our staff and other clients, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with a suspected contagious nail or skin condition (e.g., fungal infections or open wounds).
4. Right to Refuse Service:
We strive to provide a positive environment. We reserve the right to refuse service to:
- Anyone displaying rude, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward staff or other clients.
- Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Anyone who consistently violates salon policies.
5. Salon Etiquette & Electronics
- Cell Phones: To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, please keep your phone on silent or vibrate. If you must take a call, we ask that you use a quiet voice or step outside.
- Earbuds & Headphones: You are welcome to use earbuds (earbuzz) or headphones to listen to music, podcasts, or watch videos.
- Note: Please keep the volume at a level where you can still hear your technician's instructions.
- Personal Belongings: Yulee Nails is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items (such as jewelry, clothing, or phones) brought into the salon.
